1979 Porsche 924 :: FOR SALE I own two 924s with sequential VINs. The older one has 90k miles runs well and was on its way to being a track car before [life] happened. It has sat for two years but I've serviced it and have been daily driving it (90mile commute) for the last week with no issues. The younger one has 8k miles and has an electrical issue that keeps the fuel pump from working (a short)- other than that, the car is mint, no cracked dash, very beautiful. It has moved twice in the last 20 years - still has the original tires from when it was bought brand new. $8,500Pictures for each car can be found here:
![]() Luckily for me, this vehicle came well documented. I was able to trace all previous owners (6) and all the maintenance records. I do not have any records from the first three years of the cars life. I think it is safe to assume that there are no records because the receipt from the dealer shows the original owner bought a three year warranty. In any respect, I have a lot of documentation and it is all posted in the Service Records section. My goal with this car is to learn as much about auto-mechanics as I can, all-the-while fixing the car up and making ready for show/vintage racing. More information will be posted as I make it web friendly, browse the sections and check back in a month or so. Thanks, Derek T. Versteegen P.S.
